Our Mission

How do people on different sides of the political spectrum view abortion? How do race and religion impact these views? The Reproductive Politics lab investigates these questions. Launched in 2021, the Lab is focused on two areas. One team of undergraduate research assistants is conducting qualitative interviews with young people in the Nashville area on the multiple meanings of abortion. Another team of undergraduate research assistants is conducting interviews with healthcare providers in the Nashville area on the changing landscape around reproductive health.
